What gets me,is that after the test probe strike of the Xindi weapon,why
didn't Earth send a counter-strike ship loaded with tri-cobalt devices
and totally eradicate the Xindi threat? (Janeway used these devices to
destroy the Caretaker array
in Star Trek:Voyager).A few of these devices positioned around a planet
and detonated,while not destroying the planet completely like the Xindi
weapon,would turn the Xindi planet into a sterile ball of rock by
annihilating the atmosphere.
Federation ethics of investigation post attack are totally stupid and
egregious as a plot point in my opinion.
